Once a week, I get together with my soon to be sister-in-law, Lynn, who also runs Sunshine & Rainshowers...a blog devoted to art, decorating, and styling. Lately, we’ve been working on the decor for our wedding…sewing napkins and tablerunners, making garland, etc…creating the lovely details you will see in our wedding. Lynn has an extraordinary talent in styling and she comes up with the most creative ideas…I know she will work her magic on our wedding. Last week, Lynn proposed doing a mini styled shoot in her backyard complete with a window, desk, and typewriter. She rounded up all of these items within her home and created her own outdoor “workspace”. I love the results…wish I could have this outdoor office to work in…
Lynn created this adorable curtain from fabric scraps she had lying around her house…she sewed the fabric, added some lace, handmade each button fastener, and even created these cute little flowers.
