We’ve been itching to share more of our wedding ideas, as things come together. For this particular shoot, we wanted to focus on our table details + everything we’ve collected so far. A lot of you may not know, but we are collecting all of our plates, bowls, utensils, + table props for our wedding. Kurt + I have gone to numerous antique shops trying to find items that fit our wedding style…trust me, it’s A LOT of work, but rewarding in the end! Each item we come across has some type of story behind it, which makes the process even more special. This tablescape that we’ve put together, with the help of Kurt’s talented + creative sister, Lynn, is reflective of the items that we are hoping to incorporate into our wedding day. Though this table isn’t necessarily “the” exact design of our wedding tables, we wanted to showcase some items that will definitely appear. The flowers for our table were collected from the garden. We didn’t have much to choose from, but luckily, we have Janie from The Bride’s Cafe + JMFlora designing + arranging our flowers for our wedding…so we know they will be stunning!
Burlap will tie everything together on our tables. We love the rustic, unrefined look of burlap.
We will have all homemade napkins for our tables, courtesy of Lynn!
Lynn created these cute napkin rings, made out of twine + a vintage earring post!
Lynn also created these gorgeous homemade flowers out of vintage lace. This would look stunning as a hair piece!
