Mary + Matt won our e-fusion session that we, along with Josh Gooden, gave away over the winter. Mary + Matt live in Texas, so they flew up to VA for their session in Richmond. Luckily, the first half of the session we had the most gorgeous light to work with, but as soon as they changed into their second outfits, a HUGE storm came through. On that note, a lot of our weddings and sessions this year have had rain at some point during the day, so we’ve had to be a little creative in the spaces we work in

love the light and airy feel of so many of these. that and the short depth of feel are really romantic. do you use a tilt-shift to get the short DOF, or a wide open lens, or post-production?

Mary & Matt - Jodi, Kurt, & Josh – it was so great to work with all of you! You made us feel so comfortable and we had a blast, storm and all! Thanks for bearing with us and taking photos in the rain! You guys are the best! The pictures came out so lovely! We’re currently working on figuring out a date, but when we do we’d LOVE to work with you again if possible.
