Donna + Sean | wedding, part II

I know there has been a lack of blog posts over the past couple of weeks…but in all honesty, we’re extremely busy prepping for our own wedding which is about 7 weeks away!! We’ve been finalizing our invitations (expect a post on this!) and are hoping to get them out this week! But today, this post is dedicated to Donna + Sean’s gorgeous DIY ranch wedding.  I can’t say enough good things about this sweet couple and their incredible wedding.  I won’t go on and on, as hopefully the pictures speak volumes of how amazing their wedding was.  I will let you know though that Donna + Sean truly reflected themselves in their wedding…they spent hours upon hours (probably more like days…) antique and flea market shopping, sewing, and hand making pretty much everything you will see…this wedding was the epitome of DIY (some of my favorite weddings!).  So enjoy this beautiful couple!:)

Venue/Caterer: The Marriott Ranch
Dress: Priscilla of Boston
Cupcakes: Sally’s Gourmet Cupcakes
Hair/Makeup: Brooke Williams

Donna was given this locket as a wedding gift from a family friend, the locket was found in an antique store and engraved with their names

Donna + Sean opted for a “First Look”…future couples, please consider a first look as it allows for TONS more pictures.  This next series of images was taken during their first look.

How cute is this?! A hay bale couch/sitting area?! LOVE this idea!

These pillows were handmade out of burlap and scattered throughout the entire wedding with personalized stitching

Donna you are stunning!

For their ceremony, they hired a bluegrass band:)

These flower petal cones were made out of vintage paper found at Michaels and the pom-poms were made and fluffed by family

Donna + Sean set up a lemonade stand for guests to enjoy during the ceremony

Dogs were amongst the guests at the wedding!:)Taters, to the left, is Donna + Sean’s adorable dog, he served as the ring bearer.  The bandana he’s wearing was made by Donna to hold their rings.

Donna + Sean’s vows were said to the song “You are My Sunshine”

Now for even MORE pictures after the ceremony!:)

The hot sauce labels were handmade and personalized, as well as the jam

Their signature drink (delish!) was named after their dog:)

Donna found tons of vintage postcards from antique shops and scattered them around their reception

A little FYI:  these cupcake stands were made by Donna using a vintage shallow bowl, a candle stick, and some spray paint…LOVE!

Donna + Sean:  THANK YOU! Your wedding was incredible and we loved every minute of it!:)
