This past weekend was our first weekend off in a really long time…what better way to “relax” than to attend my own bridal shower
My lovely sister and mom hosted the shower for me and really tried to throw a party that represented the style of my wedding (ahem…our wedding). So what you see in the photos is just a little taste of something bigger that we have in works for our wedding. We actually incorporated a lot of little details that have been collected over the past couple of months and used them within the shower…like our china plates, our homemade napkins, furniture, and burlap. Little did I know I was going to be put to work setting up, organizing, styling…BUT that’s who I am, I cannot help but help out and of course snap a few shots while I’m at it
each napkin was handmade and will be used in the wedding!
we found that white dresser at an auction for $5!! yes, I said $5!! a coat of paint and some cute knobs go a looong way

A special thanks goes out to Kelly, mom, Lynn, Bee, and Rach for really making everything look super fabulous and all of the time and energy it took to execute such a beautiful shower! Oh and thanks to everyone who came out…you all are so generous and such a blessing to me! I hope the mosquitos weren’t too annoying
