Bee + Patrick | wedding

I can hardly believe one of my best friends is married!! I’ve known Bee since middle school and we’ve always been super close.  While Kurt and I were honeymooning, Bee began dating Patrick.  Two months after that they were officially engaged and planning their summer wedding.  We are so thankful we got to not only witness Bee and Patrick’s wedding, but photograph it as well.  Their wedding ceremony was one of the most beautiful and sacred ceremonies we have ever witnessed.  They had a Greek Orthodox ceremony with hundreds of their closest friends and family.  Though it was an extremely packed ceremony (literally standing elbow to elbow), it was so powerful and emotional.  Afterwards, they held a huge potluck dinner with some amazing Greek food and in lieu of a typical dance reception, they had their friends and family participate in one of the best talent shows we’ve ever witnessed (some serious talent going on in their family!).  Enjoy this amazing couple! Bee + Patrick…we love you guys!!

In Orthodox tradition, the bride and groom are crowned.  Bee’s sister made their crowns out of fresh herbs.

The first part of their ceremony was held outside of the altar room where they exchanged rings.  They then processed to the altar together.

and onto their reception…Lynn of Sunshowers and Rainshine designed a candy table for them!

instead of cake they served popcorn!

and Cheerwine:)

the best part of the reception was their talent show, such a great alternative to dancing!
