What better way to spend a snow day than to do a photo shoot? This past Saturday VA was hit hard with LOTS of snow, so Kurt + I snapped a couple of shots of my sister + her boyfriend, Elliott. We weren’t out in the snow long, as it was a bit frigid + my makeshift weather gear (zip lock bag) for my camera wasn’t holding up that long. Enjoy some fun shots!

Heather + Fred are absolutely the cutest + sweetest couple ever! Kurt + I were so honored to work with them last Saturday at Sweely Estate Winery in Madison, VA. Words can’t express how beautiful their ceremony was! They had incorporated a praise band into the ceremony, comprised of their friends from their home church. The worship set was so powerful + beautiful to hear. And…their first kiss was at the altar, so it was definitely a momentous occasion! This post is a little bit longer than normal, but it was so hard to narrow down which ones to post! Enjoy!

Using a mixture of still and motion photography, the winning couple will receive their own film featuring stills and video from the session and a DVD of all of the images that is sharable to friends and family. We are looking for a couple that is inspired by vintage fashion, and yet has a sense of modern trends. Ideal couple may incorporate a favorite or personal activity within their session. An activity that highlights your personalities and relationship; such as going to a carnival, building a snowman, playing scrabble…there are endless possibilities! The winning couple must have multiple outfit changes, plus willing to incorporate their favorite accessories. In addition, the winning couple will have access to their very own makeup/hair artist for the fusion session. Finally, the winning couple will receive a DVD of all the still images in high resolution and a film combining stills and video of the session to share with family and friends.

- The contest concludes on December 31st, 2009
- Must be Facebook Fans of Jodi Miller Photography and Josh Gooden | Commercial and Wedding Cinematography.
- Must be 18 or older and live within the continental United States.
- Engaged at the time of entry.
